Vacuum packing: ESAM side channel blowers – in blower and vacuum mode – are essential in packaging processes. By sucking the air out of packaging, food can be kept fresh longer, with no loss in quality. Extracting all the air from around an item will also shrink the volume. This is extremely useful with cargo, minimising the capacity required in a container or other confined space.
Air-filled packaging: Packaging is also inflated with compressed air to form cushions or bubble-wrap for outer packaging or filling material.
